ABOUT THIS SESSION

Every board and executive team is now grappling with the effects of AI on their industry. Are we striking the right balance between creating value and managing risks? How should we restructure ourselves, and do we have the necessary knowledge and skills?

The public version of ChatGPT reached a staggering 100 million users in just two months. It revolutionized AI by making it accessible to everyone, unlike anything we've seen before. You don't need a machine learning degree to interact with it or derive value from it; almost anyone who can ask questions can use it. From a business perspective, this presents both opportunities and risks.

The initial applications of generative AI are astonishing. A software developer can use it to generate entire lines of code. Law firms can find answers to complex questions buried in stacks of documents. Researchers can create new protein sequences to expedite drug discovery. However, this technology comes with real risks, leaving companies in a dilemma. They fear being left behind if they don't quickly integrate generative AI into their operations, but they are also afraid of making mistakes. The challenge is to unlock the value of generative AI while effectively managing the associated risks.

As the Chief AI Scientist at Granditude, Ali has been responsible for shaping the short- and long-term strategic and technical direction of data-driven and AI-based value generation. He oversees the development, continuous evaluation, and integration of scalable AI modules into the company's product suite. Ali's current mission is to revolutionize the e-commerce landscape with Generative AI, exemplifying his forward-thinking approach to technology.

Ali also serves as the Vice Chairman of Stockholm AI, a grassroots movement that brings together AI enthusiasts, professionals, researchers, and students to establish Stockholm as a Global Hub in AI.

Johanna has a Master's degree in Business Administration from Lund University. She began as a Business Unit Director at Icon Medialab, one of the leading digital agencies in Scandinavia around the turn of the millennium.

In 2002, she founded and became the CEO of her own design agency, Summer, and later the CEO of the marketing group ONE Media, listed on Aktietorget. As a shareholder and former CEO of Mobiento Group, the leading mobile marketing group in Scandinavia, she played a pivotal role in the company's success, winning accolades such as Cannes Lions, MMA, and Red Herring Top 100, to name a few. For three years, Johanna was the CEO of the leading digital agency in Scandinavia, Creuna, with 140 employees in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö, and was acquired by Knowit in 2021.

Today, Johanna is a professional board member with roles at G5 Entertainment, listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, and the family-owned ROL AB. She is also a mentor and godmother to Future Boards in Finland and is passionate about leadership, AI, sustainability, and transformation.
