Welcome to our breakout session on Fintech.
This breakout session will explore the role that fintech can play in driving the transition to a sustainable economy, with a focus on practical actions that fintech companies can take to promote sustainable finance.
The new SFDR regulation makes ESG data monitoring a legal requirement for many financial institutions, but the industry is now developed enough to move past data monitoring towards action. Fintech leaders have the opportunity to lead the way in promoting sustainable finance products and services, integrating ESG factors into investment decision-making, fostering innovation, and advocating for policy changes.
We will emphasise that sustainability includes not only environmental benefits, but also social good, and will explore ways in which fintech can promote financial inclusion and contribute to a more equitable society. Participants will see opportunities to develop practical strategies for promoting sustainable finance in their organizations, gain insights from other fintech leaders, and learn about the potential of fintech to drive the transition to a sustainable economy.
