Challenges and opportunities in the Generative AI Generation

ABOUT THIS SESSION

Welcome to our breakout session on Artificial Intelligence (AI).

This session is directed at executives directly driving AI strategy and implementation, as well as top management with an ambition to better understand the space and to apply that understanding in their business. You are invited to bring a problem, challenge, or opportunity to discuss in smaller groups.

We will discuss some of the recent exciting advancements in AI technology, how they can revolutionise industries and transform our world, to what potential costs, and how to avoid them.

From generative AI like Stable Diffusion and ChatGPT, TikTok filters, and autonomous vehicles; to recommender systems and predictive medicine: AI enables us to create content faster, automate mundane tasks, and take better informed decisions quicker. That is amazing! And it offers new challenges: Who owns AI-generated content? Who is responsible for the effects of our decisions if we outsource agency or action to an AI? And what happens when an AI is wrong?

HOST

Ingrid af Sandeberg

Passionate problem solver, inquisitive investor, business builder, and generally curious polynerd.

Ingrid is head of one of four business units at Aliaxis Next, a business building water impact fund owned by Aliaxis SA. Aliaxis Next exists to amplify businesses, technologies, and entrepreneurs that tackle the world’s water challenges: Under current trends, demand for water will exceed supply by 40 per cent in 2030. That’s quite a big deficit in quite a short time that gets not quite enough attention… We might refer to the galloping global water stress as the sustainability dark horse. Aliaxis Next is here to turn that one dark horse into fertile breeding grounds for a hoard of water unicorns.

Ingrid has a background in management consulting and from managing operations in several deep tech start-ups. She is the chairman of Stockholm AI: Northern Europe’s largest data scientist community, an expert advisor on AI to AI Sweden’s AI start-up landscape, and an appreciated moderator and speaker on various topics related to tech, data, and AI.
